  • Jan 29 - On-going -  iModern Hair Salon (2005 SE 192nd Ave, Suite 104, Camas, WA)
    There is a new hair salon that just opened up near Applewood Restaurant in Camas/Vancouver and I will have my photography on display at the store.  I have around 20 pieces on display that are mostly black & white and fit the decor well in the shop.  All artworks are available for purchase.  This show will rotate about every 3 months with some new artworks so support a new local business in town and enjoy some of my photography.

  • Apr 21 - Apr 22 - 14th Annual Hood River Blossom Festival Craft Show
    Hood River County Fairgrounds - From I-84, take exit 64 continue on Hwy 35, turn at the Odell Junction and follow the signs to the fairgrounds. I'll have a booth selling prints, gift cards and other crafts.

  • May 11 - 12 - RIDGEFIELD ART ASSOCIATION 20TH ANNUAL MEMBERS' ART SHOW AND SALE
    Ridgefield Community Center, 210 N Main Ave, Ridgefield, WA
    The dates for the 2012 show are Friday, May 11th for the artist reception from 6 to 9 pm and Saturday, May 12th from 10 am to 5 pm for the continuing Exhibit & Sale.  I'll have photos available at this show.

  • July 14 - 15 - Art & Wine Fair at English Estate, Saturday 11-7 p.m., Sunday 12-6 p.m
    English Estate Winery, 17806 SE 1st St Vancouver, WA
    I will have a booth at this event both days with photos, calendars and gift cards available for sale. There is local Art, Wine, Music and Food! More than 30 Artist blanket the farm, surrounded by local musicians, food and of course wine by English Estate.

     

     Awards and Credits 

    Coyote in the grass 2010 "Photo of the Year" Top 10 Finalist - "Coyote in the grass."  This photo was also an "honorable mention" during the 2010 Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge photo contest.  Another honor was being a finalist in the "Wildlife" category for the 5th Annual Photography Masters Cup in 2011.
    Annas Hummingbird in Japanese Garden 2009 "Photo of the Year" Top 100 Finalist - "Annas Hummingbird in Japanese Garden."  This photo was also selected by the Portland Japanese Garden for their seasonal gift cards which are available in the gift shop..
    Hummingbird blossoms FB 2008 "Photo of the Year" Top 100 Finalist - "Annas Hummingbird feeding on cherry blossoms in Spring."  This photo also received a blue ribbon at the 2010 Clark County Fair.
    Sailboat on the Columbia River 2010 Winner of the "Discover the Original Vancouver Photo Contest" - "Sailboat on the Columbia River."  This photo is also on the cover of the 2011 Vancouver USA Visitors Guide
    Mt Hood framed by the Garden Mt Hood (11239 feet) towers over the skyline of Portland, OR framed by a Japanese Maple.  This photo was selected for the official 2011 Portland Japanese Garden Calendar (I'm Mr. Month of May).  Available in garden gift shop or from Chris Bidleman. This photo is also available as a postcard at the garden so check at the front gate for those.
    Demon Tile Window Demon Tile Cap of the Tea House (Kashin-Tei) called the Flower Heart House is framed by the Fall leaves of the Japanese Maple.  These tiles protect the structures they guard.  This photo was selected for the official 2012 Portland Japanese Garden Calendar.  Available in garden gift shop or from Chris Bidleman.
    Heavenly Falls swirl art This long exposure shot of Heavenly Falls in the Portland Japanese Garden was selected the "People's Choice" award during the photo exhibit "Photography Galore!" in April, 2011 at Starting Grounds in Battle Ground, WA.
    End of the day beach style (panorama) I received both an "honorable mention" for 2-Dimensional juried art and the “People's Choice” award at the 2011 RAA Art Show.
